Note Values

• A whole note is a whole measure
• There is a whole note in each measure

• A half note in half of a measure
• There are two half notes in a whole note

• A quarter note is a quarter of a measure
• There are two quarter notes in a half note

• An eighth note is an eighth of a measure
• There are two eighth notes in a quarter notes

• A sixteenth note is a sixteenth of a measure
• There are two sixteenth notes in an eighth note
• There are four sixteenth notes in a quarter note

It's hard and challenging at first but we can't reach greatness without some initial challenges!
